Pickled lamb skins
Available selections and specifications are:
- SUPER: Grade I+II, minimum 7.5sf per pelt
- REGULAR/RUN: Grade I+II, minimum 5sf per pelt
- THIRD: Grade III, not less than 3sf of usable material
- PINHOLE: Grade: I+II but with pinhole, minimum 5sf per pelt
- ALPHA: Grade: I+II, below 5sf but with min. 3sf usable material
- RIBBY: Grade: Medium/heavy rib, min. 5sf per pelt
- SEEDY: Grade: Run and pinhole with seed holes, min. 5sf per pelt
- MERINO: Grade: Excessive and heavy lab rib, size "all in"
- FOURTH: Grade: Lower end thirds, min. 3sf
- PIECES: Grade: Defective pelts, min. 2sf of usable material
- SMALL: Grade I+II, under 7.5sf but minimum 6sf per pelt
Pickled sheep skins
- REGULAR/RUN HEAVY SHEEP
Grade: I+II Size: No pelt under 7.5sf
- THIRD HEAVY SHEEP
Grade: Defective pelts from "regular heavy" but without rib and merino Size: Minimum 4sf per pelt
- REGULAR LIGHT SHEEP
Grade: I+II Size: No pelt under 7.5sf
- THIRD LIGHT SHEEP
Grade: Defective pelts from "regular light" but without rib and merino Size: Minimum 4sf per pelt
- RIBBY SHEEP
Grade: I+II but with medium / heavy rib from neck to butt Size: Minimum 6 sqft. per pelt
- MERINO SHEEP
Grade: Excessive and heavy lab rib; all grades except pieces Size: Minimum 6 sqft. per pelt
