Wetsalted "farmed" deer skins

Wetsalted deer skins are sold on a weight basis. The skins are drumsalted, horsed for 48 hours and then weighed.
Farmed deer has obviously much less grain defects compared to "ferral" or wild deer. The following weight ranges are available:
  • 4.5-6 kg
  • 6+ kg

 

Pickled "farmed" deer skins

All skins are graded by substance in the shoulder area (thinnest part of the skins). The following substance ranges and selections are available:

  • 0.9-1.4mm, sel. I/II, III, ave. size 11/12 sf
  • 1.4-1.7mm, sel. I/II, III, ave. size 12/13 sf
  • 1.7+mm, sel. "all in", ave. size 14 sf
     

Wetblue "farmed" deer skins

All skins are graded by substance in the shoulder area (thinnest part of the skins). The following substance ranges and selections are available:
  • 0.9-1.4mm, sel. I/II, III, ave. size 11/12 sf
  • 1.4-1.7mm, sel. I/II, III, ave. size 12/13 af
  • 1.7+mm, sel. "all in", ave. size 14 sf
Please note that the grading also for the wetblue skins is beeing done in pickled.
